Little Mommy...

This was a convo between my kiddos yesterday. In a department store.
Pumpkin: "My belly hurts, Mommy." Sweet Pea: "Bubba, need poop!" Pumpkin: "No! Don't need to poop." Sweet Pea: "Bubba belly hurt. Need poop." Pumpkin: "No! Butt no hurt. Belly hurt." (Meanwhile, all the fellow shoppers and I are getting a good little giggle out of it.) Sweet Pea: "No." Pumpkin: "Yes." Me: "Pumpkin, are you hungry? Would you like a snack?" Pumpkin: "Yes please!" {Face palm}

Wook Mama! A Pider!

Oh you know, just sitting at my computer checking some emails when Boogie Man comes trotting in the room holding his hand out saying "Wook Mama!! A Pider!!" with a HUGE grin on his face. I was like "OMG! WTH?! Ewww!" as I swat the dead/smushed up spider out of his hand. He has been obsessed with spiders lately - ugh! He'll walk around saying "tickle tickle" as he makes his hand wiggle like a spider up your leg........... let me tell ya, it's AWESOME. {Face palm}

uh-gi-NUH!

So, I'm sitting on the couch yesterday snuggling with Sweet Pea and our conversation went like this:.
SP- "Penis" Me: "Huh?" SP: "Bubba have penis." Me: "Um, yes. Yes he does." SP: "Sissy have uh-gi-NUH-!!" Me: "Hahahaha!" I mean really. What else was there to say? I have THAT kid. She would later blurt it out to a mom of a little boy at the store, too. {Face palm}

Self Disciplining... {?}

Just a little FYI for all you Mama's out there...... Having your child stand in the corner is no longer effective when he CHOOSES it.

Me: Ok Boogie, let's go get jammies on so we can go Night Night
Boogie: Hmm, umm, I want to stand in the corner {Goes to the corner and stands there.... staring at me}

WTH?! Really kid? Didn't know getting in comfy clothes and going to sleep was SO bad that you rather stand in the corner........ Can't wait for my kids to discover that naps/sleep are AWESOME! Took me until College, praying they catch on MUCH quicker {Face palm}

"Waffle, please!"

Breakfast a couple days ago...

Me: Boogie Man, what do you want for breakfast?
Boogie: Waffle, please!
Me: Ok! What would you like with your waffle?
Boogie: Uh, TWO waffles!
Me: You want two?
Boogie: Yes
Me: Ok.... what else? Sausage links? Cantaloupe?
Boogie: No, two waffles
Me: Alrighty then... {I make two waffles, get him some milk, and set his plate on the table}
Boogie: {Looking at his plate} Hmm.... {Yes, he literally says "Hmmm" and puts his finger on his chin. Lol!} Cereal and Orange Juice, please!!

Indecisive much?! Urg! {Face palm}

Oh :: beeeeep :: !

The moment when you're riding in the car with your family having a nice conversation... Hubby slips up and says a "naughty word"... and your 3-year-old repeats it with out missing a beat. {Face palm}

What's even BETTER is your Hubby rolling with it... throwing out a German "naughty word"... and Boogie Man saying the English equivalent... Oy vey! {Double Face palm}

Pee in a cup

So potty training with Pumpkin has gone so smoothly. I mean really, really easy. So when we have moments like the one I am about to mention I just have to scratch my head. He is a boy after all. So I am sitting here, about to check on the blog when I see both kiddos out of the corner of my eye looking at something. Sweet Pea is crouched down and Pumpkin is standing there, both with their heads down. As I turn to see what they are doing Pumpkin runs off towards the bathroom with a plastic cup. I run after him and find him flushing the toilet. He is naked from the waist down and proudly shouts to me, "Mommy I poured pee pee in toilet! I flush!" You guessed it. My children were watching Pumpkin pee into a cup. {Face Palm}

Oh, the confusion!

That moment when you start getting on to your 7-month-old, forgetting she's not your 3-year-old.... Doh! {Face palm}

Tooting Tunes

So we are sitting down eating dinner and all of a sudden Pumpkin starts to sing, "Yuh-key Boo-T" over and over a couple times. As if that wasn't silly enough he was tooting with every syllable! That's my silly boy for you! {Face Palm}

Pumpkin Face Palm {1}

I have a gate separating my living and dining room. It's one of those that has a cat/dog door in the middle. I explained to Pumpkin and Sweet Pea this morning that they aren't cats and that only cats use the cat door. I turn to get breakfast together and hear the gate shaking. As I was turning around to ask them to stop shaking the gate Pumpkin was crawling through the cat door meowing. "I cat, Mommy!" {Face Palm}

Hello There!

We would like to welcome you to our new Blog! It’s been a whole year since writing on our previous one and well, we forgot our Log In. Ha! So we have written it all down this time and are going to try harder to keep up! With my life finally coming into some kind of routine with my now almost three year old and a one and a half year old it ‘should’ be a little easier to keep up! Not to mention more stories to share. As for Sarah, well, she will have to speak for herself. But, as she lives in Germany, there should be some adventure filled stories for sure! I look forward to this “redo” and hope to bring some smiles to your face at least a time or two. We have four crazy, sweet and all very different kiddos so we shouldn't disappoint!
